Uriah Spencer Stockbridge (1687 - 1780) was a member of the prominent Stockbridge family who lived in Collinsport.
In 1767, he and his wife Euphemia visited Collins House to attend the wedding of Laura Murdoch Stockbridge and Joshua Collins (Blood & Fire).
In 1780, he was murdered when his throat was slit whilst sleeping.
In 1967, Victoria Winters and Frank Garner visited the crypt where U. Spencer's body was held (154).
