  • I LOVE Barnabas Collins (of course!) - but I've also wondered why he usually carrried his cane when he'd be away from The Old House?  He apparently could walk just fine without it.  So...  Was it for added protection (if he, as a vampire, wasn't in biting range)?  Was it out of habit that started in 1795 after the vampire curse - maybe as a coutomary gentleman's accessory?  Thoughts, anyone?  Let's discuss it!  :-)    --Missy H.
