Why did they use Maggie Evans as Victoria Winters real name, in the Tim Burton movie?

In the original series, Maggie Evans was a different character, and Victoria Winters name was given to her because she was found on the Foundling home steps, in Winter.

That was a decision made by the screenwriters. When adapting a television story into a feature film they normally have to make changes to condense long storylines, and suit their dramatic needs. MissLizaMay 22:47, May 27, 2012 (UTC)

This page is mis-identified, since it does not in fact deal with the WB pilot but 2012 film. David MacDowell Blue 17:04, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

I just fixed that, thank you for pointing that out. MissLizaMay 22:47, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
