Is the ashtray in Maggie's room really a mistake? In the 1970s it was not uncommon to have ashtrays in nearly every room in the house. People did not complain about smokers the way they do now, and they were often used as candy dishes or general "catch-all" places to put things. I remember in the 1980s people starting to not have them in their house (and making a HUGE deal of it) and in the 1990s or later it would be odd in the room of a non-smoker, but ashtrays really were omnipresent back then. I agree, it's definitely not a "mistake." Remove it. --Proudhug 21:34, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Done ... I'm never quite sure how many of us here remember the 1970s! See ya after Sunset! NightBear 21:58, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Given that I was born in 1978, I don't remember them. :P However, even if this took place in 2008, it's definitely not a mistake for a non-smoker to have an ashtray in their bedroom. --Proudhug 22:19, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
