Stefan Gierasch (February 5th, 1926 - September 6, 2014) was an American actor who starred on the 1991 Dark Shadows revival series. He played the roles of Professor Michael Woodard and Joshua Collins in the 1791 flashback.

Stefan forged a career for himself by playing bit parts on various television shows for the past several decades, appearing characters on M*A*S*H*, Barney Miller, Remington Steele, The Jeffersons, and many others.
Stefan Gierasch died of a stroke in 2014.

- In preparing for the role of Professor Woodard, Stefan patterned his voice and mannerisms after actor Thayer David, who played a similar character on the original series named Timothy Eliot Stokes.
