In the early twentieth century, Steadman opened the door for his master, Jamison Collins, He was greeted by the gypsy Ivanka Romano. He tried to get her to leave but she ran into the house and discovered the room that led to Parallel Time.
A Collinwood Christmas[]
Some years later, Steadman was still in Jamison's employ. However, his master's wife, Catherine, had died leaving Jamison a bitter recluse. Finally sickened by his master's behaviour, Steadman resigned and visited Ivanka who was now staying the Old House. He told her that Jamison was now her problem before leaving the estate.
