Paris was a city in France.

In 1780, André DuPres, his wife Marie and their daughter Josette lived in Paris. One Sunday evening, Andre gave his wife a beautiful crimson pearl. The pearl spoke to both André and Marie in their dreams, warning them of the French Revolution. They left the city, with his sister Natalie, and travelled to Martinique (The Crimson Pearl).

In the early-1960s, Frank Garner spent a semester in the city where he developed a taste for wine. He told Victoria Winters about this in 1967 (153).
