Mrs. Davenport was the wife of Sheriff Davenport. Whilst her husband was investigating the death of Paul Stoddard, Philip Todd gave the Sheriff a silver tea strainer for Davenport's wife in an attempt to ease relations with the Davenport's. It was thought the item dated back to the 17th century (935). When Sheriff Davenport died, Carolyn phoned the widow to offer her condolences (936).
