Michael Stroka (May 9, 1938– April 14, 1997) was an actor on the original Dark Shadows television series. He joined the cast in 1969 playing a character named Aristede in the 1897 flashback storyline. Michael also played several other characters including Bruno, Bruno Hess and Laszlo Ferrari. Michael also made a cameo appearance as a pallbearer at Carolyn Stoddard’s funeral in the 1970 MGM movie, House of Dark Shadows. Michael Stroka appeared in a total of 63 episodes of Dark Shadows. In one episode (976), he played two different characters (Bruno and Bruno Hess). He was married to actress Karen Jensen until his death. Michael passed away in Los Angeles, California from kidney cancer in 1997 at the age of 57.
