Thanks for the info you added to the Narrator page I created, especially about ep. 461. I knew there was one episode where the narration resumes after the opening title, and wanted to mention it in the article, but couldn't remember which storyline it was from, let alone the episode number. It would have taken me several hours to find it myself.
Hey I just wanted to thank you for helping phase out the old sidebar template and formatting all the OS episodes. Needless to say MissLizaMay and I work at a snail's pace in comparison.
I was hoping you'd return as a regular editor. It's nice to have another user that can do some heavy lifting in terms organization and formatting. I was wondering if you could help me finish creating image categories for the episode pages with images. It's taking forever by myself and you seem to be the only other user here that can comprehend advanced wiki organization, templates and stuff.
Well it creates a problem in a sense of communication. Users stuck in the visual editor are kind of blind in a way. What may look normal in the visual editor could leave weird coding hiccups or spacing issues they can't even see.
You're fast! Remember to categorize those categories as Episode images.
I see, truth be told, after the first few I'd been manually switching with each page to the source code editor in order to prevent those very things you mention. At least from now on it will save me from having to do that.
Will do on categorizing the categories, hadn't considered that.
I had trouuble last night adding a second image to episode 185 and Claude fixed it this morning. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to add that image properly. With normal websites or Wikipedia, one uploads an image and then, at least in the source editing page, indicates the image file name in the right place and the photo renders properly.
Exactly what did I do wrong? I have some good images that capture the essence of some episodes better than the one image already shown. In episode 185, for instance, Dr. Guthrie gets killed by Laura but the one photo just showed the seance in the Old House. But I'm confused on how to upload a photo and make it the Bottom Image.
I enjoyed reading your three new articles. "Cancellation," was most insightful and listed reasons for the show's demise I hadn't considered. "Pre-emptions," is somewhat like reading a history book of that era and brings back memories. And the " List of Dark Shadows Storylines," is most fascinating and can serve as an authoritative outline and reference source for the series. Many thanks for these wonderful contributions. BYW thanks again for restoring the navigation arrows.
Someone just vandalized the Burke Devlin page. I don't know how to revert. Do I go to history and click the Undo link next to the last good revision? If so, that link should be named Revert and not Undo
