This article refers to Maggie Collins who lived in 1970 parallel time. For her main time band equivalent, see Maggie Evans.

Margaret "Maggie" Evans Collins was the second wife of Quentin Collins in the parallel time world of 1970.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Maggie was born and raised in Collinsport and grew up with her sister, Jenny, at the same time as Angelique and Alexis Stokes. Her father, Sam Evans worked for Quentin's father on his fishing fleet and died under mysterious circumstances. Quentin's father was questioned by the police and cleared, but committed suicide soon after. Many people speculated that it was the death of Sam Evans that drove him to kill himself.

Marriage to Quentin Collins[]

We are never told if Maggie ever met Quentin before the death of the first Mrs. Collins, but they were married and lived for a while in New York before returning to Collinsport, almost six months after Angelique's death.

Reception at Collinwood[]

Maggie had never stepped foot inside Collinwood before Quentin brought her to his ancestral home. For the most part, people were cool, but accepting of her. The major exceptions were: Roger Collins, who told her she could never hope to thrive in Angelique's shadow; housekeeper Julia Hoffman who arranged a meal that was in every way exactly what Angelique would have wanted right down to the location, time and food selection for Quentin's homecoming; and Quentin's son, Daniel Collins, who believed his mother was coming back from the grave as she had promised him she would.

Arrival of Alexis Stokes[]

When Alexis Stokes arrived at Collinwood, nearly everyone believed her to be Angelique, returned from the grave as promised. Only Quentin seemed to believe that she was, in fact, Angelique's identical twin sister. Maggie was at first frightened by Alexis, but slowly came to accept her.
