Irene Langhorne was a southern model who moved to Bar Harbor, Maine in the early 1900’s. She married an artist named Charles Dana Gibson. Gibson used Irene in all of his work, and she became a famous model noted for her attractiveness.

Notes Edit

Although records indicate that Irene lived in Bar Harbor, as early as 1916, the town of Bar Harbor was actually known as Eden until it was changed to Bar Harbor in 1918.
