A Grandfather clock stood in the foyer at Collinwood. In the 1790s, Barnabas Collins had it made as a wedding present for Josette.

By the 1960s it was cared for by Pruitt but by 1967 he had died and the new owners of his shop didn't have the necessary skills to repair it. In 1967, Julia Hoffman hid her notebook in the clock.
