Dark Shadows Wiki
The Dark Shadows Wiki is a collaborative project designed to document everything related to the various incarnations of the Dark Shadows franchise. The Wiki format allows anyone to create or edit any article (that includes you!), helping provide a complete, up-to-date database for fans. So far there are 3,200 articles on the site, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Also keep in mind that this site is full of SPOILERS, so if you don't want anything spoiled you might want to come back when you've watched every episode of Dark Shadows.
And remember, this show is eve-ill.
The New Dark Shadows Film
The upcoming Dark Shadows film is set for release on May 11th, 2012, and fans of the original show are almost unanimously delighted that the ever-creepy Tim Burton is directing and Johnny Depp is starring as vintage vampire Barnabas Collins. The casting of Michelle Pfeiffer as Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, Eva Green as Angelique Bouchard, and of course, Burton's wife Helena Bonham Carter (as Dr. Julia Hoffman) is proof that the film intends to replicate the strong feminine presence of the original cast. Now that the film has been shot in England, trailers and exclusive photos are expected to garner a lot of mainstream attention, especially considering that it's a Burton/Depp endeavor. Hopefully, this remake will classically restore the vampire image, like Nosferatu and Bela Lugosi's Count, and once and for all show those tacky young vampires of Twilight, True Blood, and the likes who is boss.
