Caroline "Carrie" Stokes (1825 - ?) was the daughter of Amos and Martha Stokes, and the granddaughter of Ben Stokes (1163). Carrie was living in Collinwood when her grandfather died in 1840. The Collins family allowed her to stay, owing to her grandfather's loyalty to the family
Carrie was a friend of Tad Collins and they shared a governess, Daphne Harridge. Carrie was devoted to Gerard Stiles, the mysterious man who lived at Rose Cottage, and conceived a schoolgirl crush on him for a time. Carrie was later courted by Jeremy Grimes.
Barnabas Collins and Dr. Julia Hoffman first saw Carrie Stokes in 1995 as a ghost who was dancing a minuet with Tad Collins, whom they initially thought was David Collins (1065/1066). They later mistook Hallie Stokes for her when they met her back in 1970 (1070).
