Carolyn's room (MGM)

Carolyn Stoddard's bedroom was on the second floor of the Gothic mansion known as Collinwood. After Carolyn's death at the hands of the vampire, Barnabas Collins, her bedroom became an impromptu command center for Sheriff George Patterson, his deputies and the occultist, Professor T. Eliot Stokes. The window to Carolyn's room looked out upon the front lawn of the estate and the small road leading to the house was easily viewable from this vantage point. Sheriff Patterson witnessed two of his deputies crash their squad car into a tree just outside her window.
