Burke Devlin's room at the Collinsport Inn, overlooked the main street in Collinsport. It was room 24, located on the third floor, and consisted of a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom (10, 21). Burke had wired ahead of time to order the room before arriving in town (1).
- In 10, the door to the hotel room opened into the hallway, but was changed from 20 on to open inward. The number "24" on the outside of the door first appeared in 21.
