I have noticed that on some episode pages, under Bloopers and Continuity errors, sometimes people list things like, "Why would Vicki leave the door open, enabling David to spy on her?" or "Vicki would not have left the door open."
I don't consider such things either bloopers or continutiy errors. A blooper is something that happens that was not supposed to happen (or alternatively that didn't happen but was supposed to), such as a door not opening on cue, or a prop missing or malfunctioning, or a line blown. A continuity error is something that is seen in one episode, but contradicted in a later episode (or even the same episode).
The "Why did a character do this, causing problems for him later?" falls into neither catagory. The scene went just as scripted, even if it IS hard to believe the character acted so stupidly,
Do others agree?
