Anne Bodley was the daughter of a grocer who lived in the Collinsport area in the year 1910. She had attracted the attention of a grotesque man named Abel. Anne spurned Abel's affections unaware of the fact that he was a werewolf. Enraged by her rejection, Abel murdered Anne, tearing out her throat and leaving her body in an alley.
