That was in the original show though I'm talking about the 1990 show.
But I will just go ahead and see the show one of these days maybe.

The coincidence was weird too cause I was watching some ds lately before the news.
I didnt care for catherine much but angelique should by far be in the top 10 fictional witch characters of all time imo.
Thanks
Yeah and tbh you could argue all the evil ghosts throughout the show should have haunted collinwood but I guess the writers didn't want to become too repetitive, for some reason they establish some bad spirits get to haunt the earth while some go to hell I guess.
Ironically they did get the one right with quentins ghost where they prevented that by TT.
Someone may have to refresh my memory cause even with rewatching some episodes I must have missed this but how come the 1970/1995 disaster of collinwood storyline still don't happen? I thought the whole reason it happened is judah died in gerards body and took over his spirit which led him to do such that. But I don't get what barnbas and the others did differently to change things, judah still dies while in gerards body, granted he leaves his body to allow gerard and quentin closure but idk why he did there and not the original timeline where barnabas and the others don't go back. What am I missing here?
1.Does this show have alot of plot errors?
2..Does this show have alot of unanswered questions or is the pacing regarding mystery pretty quick?, going off that is this show full of filler?
3..Are the villains pretty effective or are they pretty pointless?
4.Is there some action(fight scene) between the characters?
Thanks, yeah i finally got to seeing it, i wasnt that impressed with it tbh
Perhaps yeah
Without going into detail by detail, did we learn anything new about jonathan, what I mean is did we get to see his obscure works outside of dark shadows, I only knew him to be in two horror movies and a bunch of plays that Im not sure ever had anyone film.
Carnabas-cool thanks
Rc-i see cool thanks
Im sure I am not the first person to ask this but had they decided to go with the I guess I call it 2nd original plan cause the original plan was to never introduce the supernatural, that was done as an act of desperation but for the 2nd plan was to kill barnabas and never redeem him, it basically would have been house of dark shadows, obviously we can go down the speculation of the shows viewers getting lower, but I mean had he died before his flashback of 1795, it could have esentially changed most of the show, I mean angelique would have no reason to show up other than to bring him back since she loved him, nicholas could have come only to force julia to make his frankenstein type creatures but even julie was originally supposed to die and supposed to be a man character. Quentin and chris I suppose could have still shown up but a different character would have had to go in the past to stop quentin dying, the leviathan story could have happened with that character, same for parallel time story maybe to escape their world for a better one. The gerard/1840 story might have happened with two different characters, and technically jonathan could still have come back to do his bramwell thing. Overall to me it would have been worse but not tremedously worse, I love barnabas but he was kind of a one note character after a while, this is a guy who spent most of his life in a coffin and just spent most of his arc trying to survive being a vamp, curing himself of vamp or getting a new love interest, I think a reason so many people remember him fondly is he was sort of a first of his kind, a vampire who felt remorse.
But yeah would the original plan to kill him have been better, worse or the same quality of what we got?
May i ask where you got that sypnosis from?
Does anyone have any info from word of mouth via conventions and interviews of the 3rd film they had planned, the resurrection of barnabas collins, im curious what they were going to do apart from bringing him back. Honestly the thing I find strange it they were going to call it that but at the end of house of DS, he clearly lives cause he turns into a bat and flies off.
Cool thanks
I think this year alone we've lost chris, diana millay and geoffrey scott
The cw really need to hang their heads in shame for not even attempting a pilot for that reboot, i bet that was some idea and then they are just like no, creative differences excuse we hear all the time
They could have adopted all the audio dramas into live action while making a nice mixture of the old cast and new
But idk how they would have done collinwood and old house cause those places were destroyed, it would have had to be remade and a DS show without barnabas idk would have worked cause i dont want a recast, maybe it clicked at the last second they cant do it without their cash cow but it might have also clicked trying to revive a show from decades ago in the 60s-70s and sell it amongst modern day might have not worked well.
Now that the cw reboot isnt happening, to anyone who has seen the audio dramas, do they ever answer some of the hanging questions left from the show?
mainly:
what did jeb look like in leviathan form, i always imagined a snake looking creature
who made the parallel time worlds in the room in the east wing of collinwood and why?, i guess the why of it all is to give people a 2nd chance like barnabas was hoping for
did petofi and blackwood make it out alive of the fire?-apparently petofi did spoiler alert
i guess i'd like to know if there were any vampires before barnabas, that would be cool.
And are there other supernaturals out there we've never seen?
what made gerard and the other spirits come in 1970-i dont think that was ever explained, quentins spirit came out of his room the kids opened but like gerards ghost came after barnabas and julia went from 1970 parallel time to 1995
are there other werewolves that show up
Yeah i was shocked, absolutely shocked they got in david henesy
