Interesting list! It's nice to see Joan Bennett getting some love.

The point of the game is that you're given the list of main actors, and then HAVE to rank them in order, whether you find them attractive or not...it's just the way my siblings and I have always played this type of game. As I said above, I picked the main actors and then made myself rank them in order, but it doesn't mean I find them all attractive; the idea is meant to be that you're given a list and have to rank what's on it from most to least.
For instance, suppose you had to list the colours of the rainbow from favourite to least favourite. When you put down your ranking, it doesn't mean you necessarily LIKE all the colours of the rainbow, they're just ranked in order of best to worst. So you might LOVE violet and HATE Orange, but both of them have to be on your list (with Violet first and Orange last) because the point of the game is that you HAVE to rank them from best to worst. It's only a game! :D

I have a thing about broad faces (which is why David Selby is my top in the men's list). Alexandra Moltke has the broadest face of all the main women.

It's great to finally see someone else doing a list of the men! Nice balanced list altogether. My brother thinks Jonathan Frid has a really majestic quality too, but I just cannot see it myself. XD

I don't want to insult Lisa Blake Richards, but she really, really, really does nothing for me. I don't find anything attractive about her – I hate her face, I hate her hair, I especially hate her voice. Clarice Blackburn and Joan Bennett are older than her, but even so, they both have better bone structure and are more bearable than Lisa Blake Richards. I'm trying not to be too over the top in what I say, because it does seem cruel, but honestly, I cannot express to you how much I don't like her.

I really think Vicki could have stayed as a character if they'd got Carolyn Groves from the start. I think that's the thing about Betsy Durkin -- she could have been good for another part, but she was too strong an actress to take over a role already so closely (and fondly) associated with someone else. Carolyn Groves had a much more unobtrusive presence and slid into the part much more easily (IMO).

I've added all those ladies discussed as extras that people can choose for their lists (as well as a few others that my family told me in person I should include); but don't forget, even if there are actors/actresses not included in the OP, anyone is still welcome to include anyone they want in their own personal lists. :)

Terry Crawford topping Nancy Barrett and Alexandra Moltke. Fascinating.

I forgot all about Jane Draper -- she was cute, but I have way too much (admittedly undeserved) hatred towards Betsy Durkin for daring to replace Alexandra Moltke to give her the time of day.

Lara Parker and Diana Davila are an interesting pair of favourites, considering they're very, very different physically.

Yeah, I know what you mean. When I did my list of the actresses, it was really hard choosing between Lara Parker and Kate Jackson for that same reason -- it really depends what episodes/period you're thinking of.

So would you be able to pick your overall absolute Number One, or is it one of those things you just couldn't choose? :D

As for my own list, I picked the main characters and then made myself rank them in order, but it doesn't mean I find them all attractive – my first five I genuinely think are hot (especially the stunning David Selby), but after that, it was a struggle, to be honest, but that's how I like to do it (a sort of "if you had to choose" mentality"). In regards to David Ford though, although he doesn't make my top five genuine hot list, I do think he has a certain something (but then, I've always had a thing about larger, older men). :)
