I was reading Here's What Really Happened to Barnabas & Co is an article published in TV Guide magazine on October 9, 1971. Original series writer Sam Hall I was left wondering why there was no mention of Victoria Winters. Did she discover she was Mrs. Stoddard's daughter? Just seemed strange to me to omit that character from his summation. Any idea why?
Was reading the profile of jeb hawkes and it needs to be severely fixed. Its inaccurate and im not quite sure how to fix it. It goes from Barnabas sending Elizabeth and Carolyn away to hide at Angelique's house, but immediately skips a great deal, a considerable amount that really means something to Jebs storyline, to Jebs death at widows hill. Skips the marraige between Jeb and Carolyn. How Jeb softened up just a bit and refused to revert to his true form. Skips how he had Dr Hoffman kidnapped so he could implore upon her to cure him like she cured Barnabas........ There much more.
Im sorry if this was not the right area to address this concern.
I really really love this fandom. So much work has been poured into this. It's amazing 😍
I just noticed that the "400's +" episode links are missing from the main Episode list (Original series, of course!). It jumps from 400 to 526. I don't know how to fix it. Somebody check it out. (The 400's appear under the heading "4", but this is the first episode list that seems incomplete.)
Hey guys, I published my first review on Vocal media, focused on Dark Shadows!
I go into detail on each arc of the show, providing my own opinion on them, and also discuss some trivia and some of other Dark Shadows media. Hope you like it!
I was only 6 or 7 to when I'd skip school and watch with my mother. It's a bond I cherish especially now she's gone. My love for old horror shows comes from my time with her watching Dark Shadows.
My question: I thought I remembered Peter was, at one time, a werewolf. Was he? Was there ever a werewolf on the show? It may be a false memory but it seems true.
The fire that destroyed the set of the old house; or when ABC threw the set out and burned it. Twice in the interviews there is mention of this misfortunate event and how they had to write to storyline to avoid the old house for a month until it was rebuilt. Lela Swift mentions it, and so does one of the actors, though I can't remember now who brings it up. Does anyone know exactly when during the series this happened?
I said it when I signed on and I venture to say it again, I should have come here a long time ago. With what I've witnessed in the fandom via "social" networks and what I gleaned from the accuracy via this site over two years ago, this might be the better place to look for fans who care. As we know Dark Shadows is already a Multi-Fandom based on so much classic gothic literature. Who better to invite to help solve the problems but the new classics? And what's lovely about Wikia is I can contribute to all of the shows whose characters I've invited. I hope to find better substance here than I have elsewhere and because I care about accuracy to all fandoms I intend to share what I learn to all the wikia on our journey; Dark Shadows, The Addams Family, The Munsters, The Ghost And Mrs. Muir, Bewitched, The Kids In The Hall, Clue, everyone.
I'm confused about this lottery. They say every generation has to go through it...fine. Why were Flora and Julia included in the current lottery since they are part of the previous generation. Also, any other of Brutus' decendants of the current generation should also be included. This also means Bramwell and Melanie.
Greetings DS fans, this is John Reid speaking. I would like to invite all DS fans to my new fan fiction site on Facebook titled "The Dark Shadows of John Reid". Some of you may remember my previous site of some years ago titled "The Dark Shadows of Simon Magus" my previous pen name. I have begun re-typing all of my old fan fiction tales complete with new trick photos which I make myself and of course as soon as I get them all on there I will pick up where I left off with my continuous DS tale that takes place after the series ended. Here now is the new link to make it easier for you to come to my site. All are welcome.
Just a small obsevation. Why is there no 1970 in Parallel Time article that outlines the characters and the main plot? This seems to exisit for all other major storylines for the series, but not 1970 Parallel Time.
I have the chance to buy what is supposedly the entire Dark Shadows collection on VHS. There are 254 tapes, does that sound about right? So many various "collections"came out before things were put on DVD chronologically, was the series ever done in a chronological order on VHS?
