I’m surprised that there has not been discussion here about the news that a reboot of the series is likely to happen. The rights of the show are held by Dan Curtis daughters Tracy and Cathy. Tracy Curtis started a production company called Amasia Entertainment. Bradley Gallo is their President and he will be working to develop the show for another generation of viewers. I think that the fact that Tracy and Brad have the reboot of Dark Shadows as part of projects for the company is very exciting!! I hope we hear more soon. If you know about more information on this, please post it.

I was curious with the recent release of the Documentary "Masters of Dark Shadows". I thought It's pretty usual to see news stories or specials prior to revamping. I assume to build interest and slowly reintroduce. I must say I really hope I was right and this news is accurate. I'm sure it's still some time to come but exciting possibility!

It is too early to know anything about the actors or anything, it is only in the script writing stage, The only things we know is that Curtis' daughters are writing it, it will take place after Classic did and it will be on CW. Nothing else is known yet, so as I warn people on the group I co run on Facebook, BE PATIENT! Or at least join Marcy Robin and Kathleen Resch's eshadowgram group the latest news in your email, WHEN THERE IS NEWS. Sorry for the caps, but everyone eveywhere is guessing what will happen before anyone knows anything

Dark Shadows Reincarnation is the name at this point. With the virus keeping things in backlog, we might not see this for a couple of years of so. If they don't feature some of the original cast, I'll protest
